Rolex, Patek Philippe, and F. P. Journe each publish an internal standard stricter than COSC rather than submitting to it: Rolex’s Superlative Chronometer test on the cased watch, the Patek Philippe Seal that replaced the Geneva Seal on Patek’s own production in 2009, and Journe’s own in-house regulation and testing.
