The chronograph-style category covers watches whose primary visual and functional identity is timing, whether the case is a dive tool, a pilot's instrument, or a racing reference. The 69 catalog references include the dive-chrono (Seamaster Diver 300M Chrono), the pilot-chrono (Breitling Navitimer, IWC Pilot's Watch Chrono), the racing-sport chrono (Carrera, Cosmograph Daytona), and the speed-sport chrono (Speedmaster). The Speedmaster sits here because its cultural identity is inseparable from timing even though a bare Moonwatch, on size and dial layout, could qualify as a dress watch.
