The Gyrolab movement is unique to this reference and cannot be replaced with a standard tourbillon; any non-Gyrolab movement is a complete movement swap.
The Gyrolab replaces the traditional lever escapement and balance wheel with a gyroscopic regulating organ: two arms rotate in a circular path, replacing the oscillating balance. The Gyrolab mechanism is visible through the partially skeletonized dial and it is the sole authentication point that matters at the movement level. If the mechanism rotates continuously rather than oscillating, it is a Gyrolab.
