Known issues in the market
- The perpetual calendar module sits on top of the Cal. CH 29-535 PS Q base caliber; a calendar that needs correction outside a genuine leap-year rollover indicates the module has drifted out of sync or was serviced incorrectly.
- Earlier 5270 generations (2011 through roughly 2014) used leaf-shaped hands and no tachymeter scale; later generations added a tachymeter, and the 5270P-014 switched to faceted hands with no tachymeter. Hands mismatched to the stated generation point to parts substitution.
