Titanium bezels appear on the catalog's high-spec sport and tool references. IWC Aquatimer, Grand Seiko Sport editions, selected Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean variants. The alloy is roughly 45% lighter than steel with superior corrosion resistance and biocompatibility. Raw titanium scratches more readily than brushed steel; PVD or DLC coating on titanium bezels (common on IWC and Omega variants) improves scratch resistance substantially. The weight difference is noticeable on-wrist for pieces over 43mm.
