Original: Grade 5 titanium (Ti-6Al-4V). Titanium is roughly 40% lighter than steel for the same volume. The satin-finished surfaces have a slightly coarser texture than comparable steel-brushed surfaces. Titanium does not show the magnetic attraction that steel exhibits.

Case weight heavier than expected for the case size -- a steel case of the same dimensions weighs significantly more
