Cal. UN-76 is a column-wheel chronograph. The column wheel is visible under magnification through the caseback in some orientations. A column-wheel mechanism produces a notably crisper pusher action than a cam-actuated chronograph.
The 18k gold rotor mass is a specific production detail of the UN-76. Its absence on a stated genuine movement confirms a movement swap.
Silicon escape components in Cal. UN-76 should appear as flat, dark, non-reflective elements. Conventional metal components in their place indicate a non-original escapement.
Power reserve is approximately 48 hours. A Marine Chronograph stopping before 40 hours when fully wound warrants service.
