Pre-owned watches trade across a wide condition spectrum. These ranges are typical for the secondary market.
Community + OSINT signals haven’t landed for this reference yet. We don’t publish a rating against zero signal — the number would mean nothing. Editorial body + caliber + market value still surface above; ratings appear once the signal corpus does.
The bracelet taper from lug width to clasp is specifically engineered; any aftermarket bracelet will have a visible step or gap at the clasp interface.
| Area | What to check | What is correct | Red flag |
|---|---|---|---|
| bracelet | Bracelet taper and clasp interface | Smooth taper from lug width to clasp; no step or gap at clasp interface; Piaget-signed clasp | Step or gap at clasp interface; clasp that is not Piaget-signed; taper that changes abruptly rather than gradually |
| dial | Date advancement at 3 o'clock | Date at 3 advances cleanly at midnight; numeral centered in window at rest | Date that lags; date numeral not centered; date that advances at incorrect time |
| movement | Cal. 1110P via caseback | Exhibition caseback showing Piaget in-house Cal. 1110P with Piaget decoration on rotor |
The Polo Date 42mm (G0A45001) uses caliber 1110P, an in-house automatic at 4.6mm movement height. This is a distinct reference from the Polo S (G0A41003), sharing the Polo family integrated-bracelet architecture but with a different caliber and slightly different case. The reference confusion between Polo S and Polo Date is the most common misrepresentation in this family.
| Non-Piaget movement; solid caseback on exhibition-spec model; ETA or Sellita substitution |
| Era | Description | Identifiers |
|---|---|---|
| 2019 to present | Silver, blue, or black dial with applied index markers and date at 3 o'clock. The Polo Date retains the integrated bracelet design with brushed and polished finishing. "PIAGET" at 12, "POLO" on the dial (not "POLO S"). The case shape is close to the Polo S but with subtle proportional differences. |
