The Code 11.59 GMT in steel adds a 24-hour inner bezel and a fourth hand for a second time zone display to the Code 11.59 architecture. The GMT variant shares the double-curved crystal and dual-shape case of the self-winding and chronograph variants; authentication follows the same checkpoints with the addition of the GMT hand and inner bezel.

The Code 11.59 GMT is not widely reproduced as of 2026. The double-curved crystal and inner bezel GMT mechanism are both challenging to replicate.

GMT hand

Original: Fourth central hand in a contrasting color (red or orange on most configurations). The hand must align precisely with the 24-hour inner bezel scale. The hand length should reach the bezel without overlapping the bezel edge.

Replacement tells
  • GMT hand in a non-contrasting color matching the hour or minute hands -- the contrast is essential for legibility and is a design specification
  • GMT hand that terminates short of the 24-hour bezel markings or overlaps them
  • Any bend or offset in the GMT hand visible at 6 or 12 o'clock orientation
24-hour inner bezel

Original: 24-hour scale on an internal rotating bezel inside the crystal. The scale markings are applied or printed on the bezel. The bezel is set by a dedicated crown position on the Code 11.59 crown.

Replacement tells
  • Inner bezel with printed scale that shows any offset or blur under magnification
  • Bezel that does not rotate smoothly via the crown position -- the GMT function requires a specific crown position detent
  • Scale markings with incorrect AM/PM segmentation or non-standard 24-hour graduation

  • The GMT module adds a layer to the base Cal. 4302; the peripheral rotor should still be fully visible around the movement edge through the caseback.
  • The second time zone hand and inner bezel should move in one-hour increments when the GMT crown position is used; any continuous motion or missed clicks indicates a detent issue.
  • Power reserve remains approximately 55 hours from the GMT module addition; below 40 hours indicates mainspring wear.
