The 2022 case redesign mixes polished and brushed surfaces for the first time; an all-polished case on a watch sold as this generation is a mismatch.
Known issues in the market
- The 2022-generation Navitimer B01 Chronograph dropped the tachymeter/rehaut scale used on earlier Navitimer chronograph dials; a dial with rehaut printing does not belong to this reference.
- Cal. 01 is a column-wheel, vertical-clutch movement; any example showing a Valjoux 7750-style cam-and-lever layout through the caseback has had the movement swapped.
- The 46mm case is the largest of the three sizes (41/43/46mm) launched together in 2022; dial and hand proportions should look correct for the case size, not oversized or undersized as would happen with a case swap between sizes.

- Slide-rule bezel rings can be sourced and swapped; a non-original ring affects both value and aeronautical function.
