The smoked-brown dégradé dial is a specific in-house finish faithfully scanned from the 1969 original; a flat-color or mismatched-gradient dial is not correct for this reference.

Known issues in the market
  • The dégradé (gradient) dial darkens toward the edges in a specific way; reproductions and generic vintage-chronograph dials rarely match the vignette accurately.
  • The case is a direct scan of the original 1969 A385, with sharp 90-degree lug terminations; rounded or softened lugs indicate a different or generic case.
