Champagne is a warm-silver dial colour that reads gold-adjacent without being literally gold. It is the standard pairing with yellow gold cases — Rolex Day-Date 228238 (champagne with diamond hour markers is the most-produced configuration), Datejust 41 in yellow gold, and most Patek yellow-gold Calatravas. The dial works against the gold case to add depth where a flat-silver dial would read cool against the warm metal.
