Limited to 25 pieces; the three-satellite wandering-hours carousel and the two astronomical distance pointers on the periphery of the dial must all track correctly for the piece to be genuine and functioning.
Known issues in the market
- Limited edition of 25 pieces delivered in Q4 2019; provenance and Urwerk extract of archives should be checked for any secondary-market purchase.
- The case looks like titanium but the base SpaceTime reference is steel or PVD-coated titanium. An example that feels unusually light or heavy for its stated material should be checked against the Urwerk archive.
| Area | What to check | What is correct | Red flag |
|---|---|---|---|
| dial | Satellite carousel sequence and astronomical pointers | Three rotating hour satellites advance in sequence; after each hour the red minute pointer hands off correctly to the equatorial/orbital distance scales at 10 and 2 o'clock | Non-advancing or out-of-sequence satellites; distance pointers not tracking the minute display; movement fault |
| caseback | Cal. UR 12.01 architecture and windfänger rotor | Perforated rotor with visible windfänger (air-trap) propeller wheel regulating rotor spin, over a Zenith Elite base | Missing or non-functional windfänger; rotor architecture inconsistent with UR 12.01 |
| caseback | Urwerk serial and UR-100 SpaceTime reference | Urwerk serial and reference correctly engraved, matching the limited edition run of 25 | Missing or incorrect engravings; non-genuine caseback |
