The Polo Skeleton combines the integrated Polo bracelet with a skeletonized manual-wind movement (caliber 1200S). The skeletonization shows the movement architecture directly through the dial. Piaget finishing standards on the skeletonized bridges are the authentication anchor -- specifically, every visible bridge surface must show Cotes de Geneve and anglage.

Original: Caliber 1200S bridges are skeletonized and hand-finished. Each visible bridge surface has Cotes de Geneve. Each bridge edge has anglage (polished beveling). This finishing is labor-intensive and distinguishes genuine Piaget skeleton work from replica attempts. Under a loupe, each bridge should show parallel stripes on its face and a polished bevel at each edge.

A watch claiming to be the Polo Skeleton that winds automatically from wrist motion has either a different movement or has been misrepresented. Manual-wind only.
Skeletonization is a finishing operation performed on the base 1200P architecture. The gear train, escape wheel, and balance wheel are all visible from both front and back. Any opaque components obscuring the movement architecture are inconsistent with a genuine Polo Skeleton.
