Entry to the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève is voluntary and made by the brand. An entry is a watch registered for that year's competition, not a jury verdict, and several large houses including Rolex, Patek Philippe and Omega do not take part at all.

Authentication

A 300-piece 2024 revival of Gérald Genta's 1979 titanium sports-watch design for Credor's 50th anniversary. The integrated bracelet and radially engraved dial are the pieces to check against official photos; this is a limited edition with real secondary-market visibility, unlike Credor's single-digit-annual flagships.

Known issues in the market
  • The dial has approximately 1,600 hand-engraved radial lines; a stamped or printed approximation will look flatter and more uniform under a loupe than the genuine hand-engraved dial.
  • The integrated titanium bracelet uses hexagonal mid-links with a mix of brushed and polished surfaces; a mismatched or generic integrated bracelet is a sign of a different reference or a modified example.
  • Limited to 300 pieces for a 2024 anniversary release; a listing claiming a higher production number or an earlier production date is misrepresenting the piece.

Common legitimate replacements
  • No standard third-party replacement parts; bracelet sizing should be done by Seiko/Credor service given the integrated construction.
