- GPHG 2025EnteredException Mécanique category
Entry to the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève is voluntary and made by the brand. An entry is a watch registered for that year's competition, not a jury verdict, and several large houses including Rolex, Patek Philippe and Omega do not take part at all.

A 25-piece revival of Chronoswiss's own 1990s minute-repeater caliber. Counterfeiting risk is essentially nil given the tiny production run; the things worth checking are the chime quality itself and whether the movement's "restored vintage caliber" story is being accurately represented rather than oversold as an all-new in-house repeater.
- The C.126 is a restored and refinished 1990s Chronoswiss caliber, not a newly engineered movement; a description implying an entirely new in-house repeater caliber overstates the movement's actual history.
- This is a quarter repeater: it chimes the hours and quarter-hours on two gongs via a pusher at 10 o'clock. It does not chime individual minutes, which would require a more complex (and differently named) minute-repeater mechanism.
- Two colorways exist, each limited to 25 pieces: Scream (blue, orange, and purple CVD-coated bridges with a Paraiba-green minutes ring) and Blue Note (navy CVD-coated bridges). A dial combining elements of both, or colors outside this pair, does not match either documented configuration.
| Area | What to check | What is correct | Red flag |
|---|---|---|---|
| movement | Quarter-repeater chime activation | Pusher at 10 o'clock activates a clear two-gong chime sequence for the hours and then the quarter-hours, with visibly moving hammers at 1 o'clock | Muffled, incomplete, or single-gong chime; hammers that do not visibly move when the pusher is activated |
| case | Titanium drum case and glassbox crystal | 42mm Grade 5 titanium case with double bands of knurling top and bottom, an onion crown, and a glassbox sapphire crystal that visibly distorts the dial periphery | A flat (non-glassbox) crystal, or knurling and crown details inconsistent with official photos |
| dial | Skeletonized regulator-style layout | Central minutes hand, hours subdial at 12 o'clock, and small-seconds subdial at 6 o'clock, with ceramic Super-LumiNova blocks on the minutes ring | A conventional three-hand layout sharing a single center point, inconsistent with the regulator display this reference is built around |
- Strap only (grey nubuck leather with Alcantara lining); no bracelet option exists for this reference.
