Authentication

Verify the case diameter is 35mm; the 40mm PRX is frequently confused with or misrepresented as the smaller 35mm variant.

Known issues in the market
  • The 35mm and 40mm PRX share the same design language; the case diameter must be measured or verified against the reference number.
  • Reference numbers for the 35mm and 40mm PRX are distinct; verify the caseback reference number matches the claimed size.

Last reviewed June 2026

The PRX 35 Powermatic 80 is the 35mm version of the PRX, introduced in 2023. It shares the same integrated bracelet architecture as the 40mm but proportioned for smaller wrists. Inspection priorities mirror those of the full-size PRX, with the bracelet integration and caseback medallion as the two primary checkpoints.

Known reproduction risks

toggle
MEDIUM

Replicas of the 35mm PRX exist but are less common than the 40mm. The same bracelet integration tells apply.

  • Bracelet integration gap at the lug
  • Hollow center links
  • Dial text scaling appears off relative to the case size

Dial variants by era

toggle
EraDescriptionIdentifiers
2023 to presentSilver, blue, or green sunburst dial. Same typography and layout as the 40mm PRX but scaled to 35mm. "PRX" below the Tissot logo. Date at 3.
  • Case diameter should measure 35mm, not 36mm or 38mm
  • Lug-to-lug 41mm; any bracelet or strap suggesting a longer lug span is a different size
  • Same applied baton markers as the 40mm variant

Service part flags

toggle
Bracelet

Original: Integrated brushed-and-polished bracelet with solid center links, proportioned to 35mm case. The clasp is a folding deployant signed "TISSOT."

Replacement tells
  • Bracelet from the 40mm PRX does not fit; any size mismatch is visible at the lug
  • Aftermarket bracelets typically lack solid center links

Case back markings

toggle
2023 to present
  • Screw-in caseback with Tissot medallion
  • Reference T137.207 prefix on the caseback rim
  • "SWISS MADE" and serial number

Movement tells

toggle
  • Same ETA C07.611 Powermatic 80 as the 40mm PRX. Beat rate and power reserve checks are identical.
  • The 35mm case is thinner (10.4mm) than the 40mm (10.9mm). A noticeably thicker case suggests the wrong movement or a counterfeit housing.
