The Series 5 features an open-dial movement architecture where the movement bridges are visible from the dial side. A 39mm case in gold. The most architecturally expressive of the round Roger Smith Series.

No known replica. The open-dial architecture with fully finished visible movement is impossible to counterfeit; the finishing standard alone would exceed the value of any replica effort.

Given the open architecture, condition assessment is unusually transparent: the movement quality is visible to the naked eye. A beautiful example speaks for itself.

Original: With the movement visible from the dial side, every bridge surface is fully exposed. The finishing standard is the highest Roger Smith produces: mirrors on all flat surfaces, sharp hand-filed chamfers, flawless Cotes de Geneve or circular graining where specified.
