Authentication
The Credor Signo uses an ultra-thin automatic movement with a rotor only 0.99mm thick. It is one of the thinnest automatic watches made in Japan. Authentication concerns follow the same pattern as the Eichi II: no counterfeits exist at a serious level; the risk is model misrepresentation and condition verification.
- The Signo is extremely thin (6mm case height); any example claiming to be a Signo with more height is a different model.
- Dial finishing quality on genuine Signo examples is very high; enamel, guilloché, or mother-of-pearl dials meet Credor standards.
- Movement is automatic (rotor visible through caseback); any claimed Signo with a manual-wind movement is the wrong model.

The Signo is Credor's ultra-thin dress watch on Cal. 6898A. The case profile and movement finishing are the primary checks. Production volume is higher than the Eichi II, making condition and service history more relevant.
