In-house manufacture caliber · caliber RR-02 (hand-wound, in-house, Faraday-cage anti-magnetic)
Versatile size: fits most wrists (6–7.5 in / 15–19 cm)
39 mm case. The sweet spot for the broadest range of wrist sizes. Neither too dainty nor too bold.

Community + OSINT signals haven’t landed for this reference yet. We don’t publish a rating against zero signal: the number would mean nothing. Editorial body + caliber + market value still surface above; ratings appear once the signal corpus does.

Authentication

The Faraday-cage anti-magnetic construction is invisible externally; purchase requires direct provenance verification given Akrivia's extremely limited annual production.

Known issues in the market
  • Akrivia produces fewer than 10 watches per year; any RR-02 on the secondary market must have verifiable direct provenance.
  • The Faraday cage housing the RR-02 movement is internal; external inspection cannot verify it directly.

Authentication guide

Last reviewed June 2026

The Chronomètre Antimagnetique is Rexhep Rexhepi's first watch under his own name after Akrivia. The anti-magnetic construction eliminates iron from the movement entirely; the finishing standard is the same Rexhepi benchmark established at Akrivia.

Known reproduction risks

toggle
LOW

No known replicas of any Rexhepi eponymous piece. The production is too low-volume and the finishing too labor-intensive to support counterfeiting.

Authenticate through atelier records. The watch is young enough (2022 onwards) that full provenance is available for every piece.

Dial variants by era

toggle
EraDescriptionIdentifiers
2022 to presentSpare, architectural dial. Rexhepi's design sensibility emphasizes geometry and negative space over decoration. The dial treatment is cohesive with the movement aesthetic visible through the exhibition back.
  • "REXHEP REXHEPI GENÈVE" in a specific typeface at 12
  • Chronomètre designation reflects the COSC-adjacent precision standard of the movement
  • Dial surface is consistent with Rexhepi atelier output: no filler text or spurious complications

Service part flags

Bridges and plates

Original: Hand-beveled bridges with straight-grained plates. The geometry and proportion of the anglage is a signature; no two craftspeople produce the same result, but departures from the Rexhepi standard are visible to anyone who has studied the originals.

Replacement tells
  • Chamfer width inconsistent across the bridge surface
  • Grain direction not parallel on the plate surface
  • Polished-over chamfer edge (too rounded, no crisp transition)
Anti-magnetic components

Original: All escapement and gear-train components use non-ferrous alloys. The balance spring is silicon or a paramagnetic alloy; the movement should not respond to a magnet held near the caseback.

Replacement tells
  • A replacement balance spring from a ferrous source will cause the movement to respond to magnetic proximity
  • Any iron-based screw or bridge replacement breaks the design intent and changes the magnetic signature

Case back markings

toggle
2022 to present
  • Serial engraved on movement and case
  • "REXHEP REXHEPI GENÈVE" on movement plate
  • Exhibition caseback; the movement finishing is the authentication surface

Movement tells

toggle
  • The movement follows the same finishing standard as Akrivia pieces; every chamfer should be a crisp, hand-polished 45-degree transition.
  • Anti-magnetic construction should be verified by confirming the movement continues running normally when held adjacent to a standard neodymium magnet.
  • Any oil migration or bridge marking from poor service is visible under the exhibition caseback without disassembly.
  • Documentation should trace back to the Rexhepi atelier directly; the production numbers are extremely small.
