Authentication guide

Last reviewed June 2026

The Engineer Marvelight NM2182C is Ball's slimmer sport option. The tritium tube system is identical to larger Ball models; the authentication process is the same. The Marvelight runs the ETA 2824-2, making it a clean in-house-adjacent movement with high service availability.

Known reproduction risks

MEDIUM

Fake tritium lume substitution applies to all Ball models including the Marvelight.

  • Dark-room glow test: genuine tritium glows immediately and continuously without charging
