The 126720VTNR is a lower-volume, left-hand-crown ("Destro") reference. Its unusual case configuration makes wholesale replicas less common than for the mainstream Pepsi or Batman GMT-Master II, but the bicolor Cerachrom bezel insert is copied using the same tooling as other current GMT-Master II fakes.

Known issues in the market
  • Because genuine 126720VTNR supply is limited, some sellers pair a real GMT-Master II case with a re-machined left-hand crown tube and a non-genuine bezel to simulate the reference; verify crown-side case geometry carefully.
  • The black/green bicolor Cerachrom insert is produced with the same replica tooling used for Pepsi and Batman inserts; junction quality is the fastest tell.
  • Franken-watches pairing a genuine case with a non-3285 movement are sold at prices below market for this reference.

  • Bezel insert replacement after impact is common; confirm Cerachrom ceramic with correctly toned numerals.
  • Bracelet clasp replacement at service is routine; confirm Oysterclasp function and correct markings.
