The SPB439 is the 1968 Diver re-interpretation with a GMT complication using Cal. 6R55. The GMT is a meaningful authentication point: the 6R55 is the only Seiko in-house automatic GMT caliber currently in production, and it is not found in any other consumer Prospex reference. Any SPB439-claimed watch with a non-GMT movement has been misrepresented.
