The 126610LN is the current-production steel Submariner with a black dial and black ceramic bezel, enlarged to 41mm from the 40mm case it replaced in 2020. The move to the caliber 3235 and the supercase brought meaningful improvements in power reserve and bracelet engineering, making this the most capable version of the reference to date.
The 126610LN arrived in 2020 as a direct successor to the 116610LN, which ran from 2010 to 2020 with caliber 3135 and a 40mm case. The new reference introduced caliber 3235 (70-hour power reserve, Chronergy escapement), a 41mm case with wider lugs, and a redesigned Oyster bracelet with the Glidelock extension system. The ceramic Cerachrom bezel insert carried over in concept but was reissued in the larger format.
No significant dial variants have emerged since launch; the reference is a single-configuration production watch.
Check the bracelet end links for fit and play; early 126610LN examples occasionally showed looser tolerances that Rolex addressed in later production. Verify the case finishing, specifically that the brushed flanks and polished bevels are intact and not blended together by a sloppy polish job. Confirm the serial number range places the watch in post-2020 production, as some sellers mislabel late 116610LN examples.
A full set with card, green box, and original hang tags carries a meaningful premium and is worth verifying against the warranty card date. The Glidelock clasp should engage cleanly at each increment with no rattle.
