Joure watches
References in the Grail Atlas catalog made in Joure.
Joure, in the Frisian region of the Netherlands, is the home of Christiaan van der Klaauw, a Dutch horological atelier known for astronomical complications. The CVDK catalog references include worldtimers, moonphase displays, and orrery-like planet displays. Van der Klaauw is one of the very few Dutch watchmakers with an independent manufacture tradition and international recognition in the complication-watch collector community. Production volumes are small; the brand occupies the same collector niche as high-complication independents despite being less well-known than French or Swiss peers.
