Colibrica Design Atelier is a family business based in Uglich, an old city on the Volga that became the center of the Soviet watch industry through the Chaika factory. Founded in 2004 by a young couple, the atelier focused on manufacturing dials and hands before launching its first model, the Atelier Indicator, in 2015. 'Uglich-Mechanics' is a development of the 'Uglich-Automatic' model, featuring the classic 'Rocket 2624' movement as a tribute to the golden age of wristwatches in the 1940s-60s. The case is made of high-strength BT-6c titanium alloy, with 13 blue steel slate indices and a handmade leather strap.
