Petermann Bédat: Gaël Petermann and Florian Bédat. Their friendship dates back to watchmaking school where they shared the same workbench; they also lived together at the time they perfected their skills in Glashütte. Back from Germany, they chose Renens, in the Canton of Vaud, to establish their workshop, next to that of master watchmaker Dominique Renaud. In 2017, Petermann and Bédat decided to create their first movement with the help of Dominique Renaud: a 3-hand caliber with a deadbeat seconds, "La 1967". Every detail is hand-decorated with the same care, including parts that will never be seen. For their deadbeat seconds, the Gafner system was an obvious choice.
