When launched in 1969, the first 10 Super Compressor dive watch had two crowns, one of which was used to control the internal rotating bezel, allowing measurement of elapsed time using a scale from 1 to 60 minutes. The "Seastrong" was then waterproof to 200 meters, antimagnetic, and featured a characteristic Super Compressor case. It is to pay homage to this historic collection that Alpina presented the "Seastrong Diver Heritage" in 2016.
