Video CHRONOMÈTRE FERDINAND BERTHOUD FB 1R.6-1 A TIME-PROOF REGULATOR Inspired by marine chronometer No. 7, which Ferdinand Berthoud built in 1767, the construction and display of the Chronomètre Ferdinand Berthoud FB 1R.6-1 defy tradition. Made of a black rhodium-plated nickel silver regulator plate decorated with straight-line graining, the dial features three openings: hours (2 o'clock), minutes (12 o'clock), and power reserve (10 o'clock). The FB-T.FC.R caliber, with its pillar architecture, features a central seconds tourbillon whose constant force is supplied by a fusée-and-chain transmission mechanism incorporating a differential gear system.
