Seiko Prospex Professional Diver's 1000M. In 1975, Seiko unveiled a 600m water-resistant dive watch with a titanium monobloc case and an external protective shroud, equipped with an L-shaped gasket making it helium-tight without a decompression valve; its accordion-shaped strap earned it the nickname "Tuna". This year, a 1000m saturation dive watch, with a mechanical movement featuring a bezel made of a new material, joins the Seiko Prospex collection, powered by the 8L35 caliber. The new bezel material, "Ever-Brilliant Steel", is a stainless steel more resistant to corrosion than that used for most high-end watches.
