The history of the Portugieser Chronograph, one of IWC Schaffhausen's most iconic models. With its compact 41 mm diameter, this model fits almost any wrist; its slim bezel, however, gives the impression of wearing a larger watch. The clean, functional dial features applied Arabic numerals and fine leaf hands. The inner bezel, printed with a quarter-second scale, allows for precise reading of the chronometer time while recalling the nautical origins of the Portugieser. This model features a stainless steel case, a green dial, applied rhodium-plated hands, mounted on a black alligator leather strap.
