The history of the Portugieser Automatic 40 dates back to the late 1930s with reference IWC 325. Today, this timeless design returns in an automatic model with a compact 40 mm diameter case, powered by the IWC 82200 manufacture caliber with Pellaton winding system and a 60-hour power reserve. The stainless steel case houses a silver-plated dial with blue hands and indices, accompanied by a blue alligator leather strap with a butterfly clasp. The 82000 manufacture calibers perpetuate the tradition of high-quality IWC automatic movements, with virtually wear-free ceramic components and a skeletonized rotor revealing the decora
