The Model 2 Fumé demonstrates the house's expertise in enameling techniques and watch design. To create this dial, enamel is applied to a hand-shaped dome-shaped silver plate, giving it its gradient or smoked effect color, with a thickness varying from 0.4 to 0.15mm. It is in Scotland, in Glasgow, where its studio is located, that the Maison anOrdain has specialized in high-temperature enameling. Three enamellers, all jewelers by training, have spent three years perfecting the art of dial enameling. The brand's motto: Old Crafts, New Hands.
