Kurono Tokyo - Chronograph 1 Kurono presents its very first chronograph, designed by the extraordinary Japanese watchmaker Hajime Asaoka. A 38 mm column-wheel chronograph, the Chronograph 1 features a monochromatic art-deco design language. Available in black or silver, the central feature of the dial is a vertical stripe pattern. At '3' and '9' are subdials finished in a concentric guilloché pattern, the one at '9' set with a refined Japanese traditional "kyudo" bow design. For the Chronograph 1, Hajime chose the NE86A mechanical chronograph calibre, a 311-component movement combining a column wheel, a horizontal clutch
