Watch enthusiasts know that Bvlgari acquired, in the year 2000, the brand founded in 1969 by the brilliant designer and watchmaker Gérald Genta. 50 years later, his spirit, his know-how, and most of the highly qualified watchmakers from the Maison have integrated the Bvlgari manufacture in Le Sentier, Switzerland. The watch, which bears the original Gérald Genta logo on the dial, pays homage to the role played by this, once legendary, brand in the success of Bvlgari watchmaking over the last 18 years.
