Video BLACK BAY P01 TUDOR introduces the Black Bay P01, a watch based on a legendary prototype developed in the second half of the 1960s and offered to the US Navy, thus revealing a little-known aspect of its history. In 1967, TUDOR, which had been equipping the US Navy with diving watches since the second half of the 1950s, began developing a technical model intended to replace the Oyster Prince Submariner 7928 reference, then in service. This new watch had to meet a set of specifications dictated by the American government while incorporating the results of the latest research in functionality and ergonomics conducted by engineers.
