The Altiplano Ultimate Concept was developed entirely in-house by Piaget's Research and Innovation department. It was the result of four years of work, during which many watchmaking codes were rethought and reinvented. Measuring barely 2mm, including the case and sapphire crystal, it is the same thickness as the iconic 9P movement, unveiled by Piaget in 1957.
