Universal Geneve produced the Geneve series as its standard dress watch line during the brand's mid-century peak production period. The calibre 66 manual-wind movement is a compact, well-finished Swiss manual caliber appropriate to the thin case architecture. The reference was positioned below the Polerouter and Compax in the UG catalog and sold in large enough quantities to be available today without significant rarity premiums for standard dial configurations.
