Lange’s precision-observatory line, named for Richard Lange, the founder’s son and the manufacture’s technical successor. Every “Pour le Mérite” reference in the family carries a fusée-and-chain transmission — the constant-force mechanism visible through the caseback — reviving a complication Lange first put in a wristwatch in 1994.
