Ming's second series, announced alongside the 17 series in the brand's 2017 debut and developed with Swiss movement maker Schwarz Etienne. The 19.01 paired a time-only layout with the same flared-case design vocabulary as the 17.01, giving early Ming buyers a choice between the two founding silhouettes.

Which ref to buy

The MING 19 series represents a design departure from the 17 line, with a softer, more integrated case architecture and a different visual language. Less foundational than the 17 series; more experimental.

  1. 1

19.01: MING's take on a cleaner, rounder sports-adjacent case with the same finishing standards as the 17 series.

    The case for it:
The 19.01 is the correct entry point for collectors who find the 17-series case architecture too traditional. Finishing quality is consistent with the rest of the brand.
    Consider instead if:
The 17 series has deeper collector history and more established secondary market behavior. For a first MING, the 17.01 is a safer starting point.
