Image courtesy of Vacheron Constantin, via the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève · Vacheron's own submission photograph for the 2011 GPHG, filed under this exact reference (the GPHG entry lists 81018/000R-9657, 31.2 x 44.5mm, 10.2mm, 28,600 CHF). Full-watch view on the brown alligator strap. Caveat: 430x430 is the largest size GPHG holds for the 2011 competition year, well below the 800-1600px typical of this directory. Vacheron has purged the Aronde from its own press lounge and the archived Richemont CDN assets are no longer served, so this is the best verified image available. A sibling frame, a tighter dial crop, is at gphg2011_vacheron_constantin_0708_81018_000r_9657_01_4997f6fc59.jpg if a closer view is ever wanted.

Historiques Aronde 1954

A faithful re-edition of a 1954 rectangular dress reference, named for the double-rounded "swallow wing" curve along its case flanks. Hand-wound, solid caseback, guilloché dial. One of the few genuinely rectangular cases in Vacheron’s modern catalog.

Year introduced: 20111 reference
