Philippe Dufour's first wristwatch and his masterpiece: unveiled at Baselworld 1992, it was the world's first wristwatch to house a grande and petite sonnerie striking mechanism, a complication previously confined to pocket watches. Only eight examples exist across two dial styles -- four with a grand feu enamel dial and four with an openwork sapphire dial exposing the strike work -- making it one of the rarest and most historically important watches made by any living independent watchmaker.
