Grand Seiko’s design-language platform, not a movement family: a case-and-dial proportion system (the "Grand Seiko Style" of flat facets and zaratsu-polished bevels) applied across Spring Drive, Hi-Beat, and hand-wound calibers alike. The hand-wound 9SA4-based references sit at the mechanical end of the platform.
