Rolex cal 3186 is the GMT movement that powered the GMT-Master II 116710 from 2005 until the 3285 replaced it in 2018. Its paramagnetic Parachrom hairspring was a significant upgrade over the earlier cal 3186 predecessor, offering improved resistance to magnetic fields and temperature variation. The bidirectional Perpetual rotor and independently settable 24-hour GMT hand define its character. Millions of these movements are on the secondary market in well-preserved condition.
