Caliber 1304 is the manual-wind movement in the Chronometre Souverain and Chronometre Bleu: 22 jewels, 161 parts, 30.40 x 4.00mm, with plates and bridges in 18k rose gold. Two mainspring barrels sit in parallel and unwind together, which exists to hold torque linear across the 56 +/- 2 hour reserve rather than to extend it. The balance is free-sprung with four inertia weights and a flat Anachron hairspring, and F.P. Journe publishes amplitude at 320 degrees dial up. There is no remontoire in this caliber; that mechanism belongs to the Chronometre Optimum (cal. 1510).
