Brand history

Originally founded 1828 in Saint-Petersburg by Heinrich Moser, dormant through most of the 20th century, and revived 2005 in Neuhausen am Rheinfall (the Schaffhausen canton, the same as IWC) by the Meylan family — owners of the movement manufacturer Précision Engineering AG. The brand is small (~1,500–2,000 watches per year), the dials are unmistakable (the "fumé" sunburst-to-edge fade is a Moser signature), and the in-house calibers (HMC 200, HMC 327, HMC 902) are produced by sister company Précision Engineering. Sits in the top-luxury independent conversation with F.P. Journe and Laurent Ferrier.
