A compact 40.3mm case for RGM's in-house Caliber 801, the hand-wound movement that was the first serial mechanical watch movement made in the US since Hamilton ended domestic manufacture in 1969. The 801/40 pairs the same hand-finished movement with a smaller case than the original Pennsylvania Series 801, with Grand Feu enamel or engine-turned silver dial options.
