  Founded 1992 by Roland G. Murphy in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania -- the same county that was home to the Hamilton Watch Company from 1892 until it ended US manufacturing in 1969. RGM is the only vertically integrated watch manufacture in the US, building its own movements (Caliber 801, Caliber 20, Caliber MM2) and dials in-house rather than assembling from outsourced ebauches.
